Formula E Racing Car

Fabrication of a full size Formula E racing car for a Formula E commercial. The whole car was fabricated in carbon fiber and fiberglass components. A steel structure was designed to support all the components. The wing components were fabricated in polycarbonate and the halo was made in stainless steel. A detailed steering wheel with LED lights was also fabricated. The whole car with all details was fabricated exactly as the original. The original idea was that the car would be filmed while falling from a plane, therefore it was fabricated in such a way that none of the components would be able to fly off the car while falling through the air. Every component had to be secured to the center steel structure of the car to ensure that nothing would fly off the car mid-air.
